We are a small independant company that like to offer a friendly trustworthy approach, we pride our selves on our high levels of professionalism, always using the correct equipment and modern techniques. We are often asked if anything needs to be done in preparation for our arrival, the answer is we need a clear access to the appliance we are sweeping and a reasonable amount of space for our equipment. we will provide all of the sheeting we require to make sure your home is left exactly as we found it.​We look forward to working for you.

Pricing

Sweeps

  • Sweep lined wood burning stove £50

  • Sweep unlined stove/ masonary chimney £5

  • Sweep regular open fire £60

  • Sweep large/inglenook fire place £90

  • Sweep Aga/Rayburn £60

  • Sweep oil boiler £60​

    All chimney sweeps to include an insurance approved ICS certificate and a smoke draw test.​​

    If upon arrival your appliance can not be swept due to poor fitting or inadequate access there will be an attendance charge of £30.​

    It is always assumed that should you have a cowl then it has been correctly fitted and therefore secured for sweeping. Should this be dislodged during a normal sweeping process there will be an additional charge to refit or replace as necessary.​

Birds Nests

We can also offer the removal of bird nests from your chimney.It is often Jackdaws that will nest in a chimney and you will be amazed at how persistant they can be, a chimney makes a nice warm relatively dry home that they will return to time and time again unless an adequate cowl is put in place to keep them out. It can be an arduos process to remove a nest as no 2 nests are the same, it is a messy job that requires additional sheeting. It is because of this and the time involved that nest removal is priced at £90 for the first hour and then £50 there after.​

 

- Please note it is illegal to disturb nesting birds between the months of February and August, so if you think you have a nest in your chimney it is imperative that your fire is not used. Birds nest is highly combustible and a nest blocking a chimney can lead to deadly carbon monoxide poisoning.​
