We can’t quite believe it’s nearly the end of June already and our new showroom has been open for just over a month now. The support we’ve received from local businesses and residents has been amazing and we really appreciate it!
As a small independent business, it’s always daunting to try something new, and opening the showroom was a big step to take and has been a culmination of years of hard work and dedication by Jez Samworth, owner of the company and chimney specialist for over 20 years.
Whilst the showroom is based in the lovely village of Liss, Hampshire, Samworth Sweeps and Stoves covers large parts of Hampshire, as well as parts of Surrey and West Sussex. We rely on advertising, social media, recommendations and customer reviews to keep the business thriving…as well as providing a first-class service of course! There will always be competition from other larger woodburning stove companies, but we offer a personal, professional and complete customer satisfaction approach from initial enquiry through to job completion and aftercare. And all this at very competitive prices as we believe in honest pricing.
Our showroom is open 5 days a week and is run by myself (Clare) as shop manager. We have an amazing display of woodburning and multifuel stoves, as well as bioethanol and electric stove options, from first-class manufacturers. We also supply fireplace accessories, stove maintenance products, wooden and non-combustible mantels, a selection of BBQs and firepits to see you through the summer months, as well as charcoal, kindling, logs and so much more!
Samworth Sweeps and Stoves is HETAS-registered and can provide a full installation service for a new stove - including lining chimneys, installing twin-wall systems, fitting new hearths, mantels, fireplace alterations (including opening up the brickwork to create a larger fireplace). We can also fit cowls, birdguards, carry out any stove refurbishments and we are an ICS-registered chimney sweep.
